UEFA Champions League Finalist Paris Saint-Germain Football Club uses Redexim equipment

Immediately after the start of the “confinement’’ (lockdown ) in France in March 2020, Head Groundsman Jonathan Calderwood of Paris Saint-Germain Football Club decided to purchase two Redexim machines: the Verti-Cut 1300 and the Turf-Tidy 2300.

Both machines were vital to precisely remove the organic material from the hybrid pitches (Desso Grassmaster) on the trainings bases during the long spring and summer months, without damaging the vertically stitched fibres. Thus the trainings fields could be maintained to perfectionism during the growing months. Perfect carpets were created for the players to train on, so that they are able to excel at this year’s UEFA Champions League.

Verti-Cut 1300 is the perfect machine to take out a lot of thatch/organic material. Cutting depth can be very accurately set, just above the top of the fibres. Pictures’ above: Paris Saint Germain FC training base on a Desso Grassmaster pitch, with the cutting depth set exactly at 4.1mm deep.

The Turf-Tidy can verticut at an extremely high 2500 rpm, resulting in a very clean and true cut.
